"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God," 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
We decided to meet the rest of the fam in Mobile for the weekend, which is really on Saturday. Eli had double vision on Saturday, but not Sunday or today. So, I am hopeful (and prayerful) that it is the methotrexate. He and I took the scenic route to Mobile Friday since the others were going to get in really late. We drove along the beach at Gulfport and Biloxi, Mississippi. The rain was pretty heavy on and off the whole trip, but we just took our time. The kids had been given some spending money from friends, so you can guess what our first stop was that we never, ever go to because there are none anywhere! Yep, Toys R Us. Then we visited the U.S.S. Alabama Battleship Memorial Park. It was a huge complex, and super,
super hot. Eli lost interest very quickly because of the heat, but Caleb and Vic soaked up everything. We ate out, got ice cream, and then they played video games at the hotel. He still has a cough, and has really cut back on his eating again. Only one more treatment on Thursday, so keep the prayers coming.
