I wanted to give a quick update: Eli is doing pretty good as far as we can tell. His weight at his check was the same, so the silver lining is that it didn't go down. I am going to add the steroid appetite stimulant back to see if we can do a little better. But, otherwise, he seems to be doing well. We took Caleb to the pediatrician because of our concern with his nauseousness, and heacache complaints. He said given the history of the family, and that he complains of a headache wihich is unusual for a 4yo, he recommends an MRI. So, we are scheduled for a sedated MRI Tuesday at noon. The doc is confident that those scans will be clear, and he he seems to feel great, so I am feelign good about it as well. So, please say a prayer for him that those scans are clear. My heart is heavy tonight for Jayden. A boy we have been praying for that I also mention often on here passed away last night. He has been fighting for a long time, and his parents have been amazing. The picture I'm sharing of is Eli flying is blu-tooth helicopter that he got for his bday.

  1. Kristie,

I've been praying for you and your family. I just wanted to let you know that my youngest had severe migraines that started when he was 3 or 4. He would also get very nauseated. He had all kinds of tests (including a CT scan), but they never found anything. He is now 24 and still has the migraines. I'll be praying for Caleb's MRI to go well.

    1. Thanks, Naomi. Caleb has always seemed a little "fragile" in how he reacts to food, or lack of sleep, or overstimulation of any kind, so I'm hoping that this is overkill for our own sanity.
