"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God," 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
I had a fun idea. If you are going on vacation this summer or even if you are having a staycation, or if there is a fun tourist place in your town or nearby, please mail Eli a postcard for our bare refrigerator at the apartment or maybe we can make a scrapbook. You don’t have to mail it when you are on vacation, just any time, and, really, this is only for fun, so only if it is convenient. Mail to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Patient: Elijah (Eli) Williams, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Eli has eaten bites of something at each meal today, and appears to be doing as well as one could hope at this stage. We are anxious to hear what his ANC is Monday since he has been off the boost since Thursday. We went to the zoo yesterday and to the Fire Museum today, plus played in the Target House playroom and playground. We’ve played video games, worked puzzles, and picked out movies from the Target House library. I got their laundry done and some other housekeeping things out of the way for them. I’m not sure now what the plan is as far as us switching. Evidently, Vic has some reservations or just can’t seem to commit to a plan, so it sounds like we are playing it by his ear. The picture tonight is of Eli at the car show we went to Thursday night. We love muscle cars, and a Dodge Challenger is in the top mix.
