Update: Eli's white blood cell count is still 600. The boost did nothing. They are going to do a sedated bone marrow biopsy to get a microscopic look at the cells to see if they are healthy. This will be about 530 this evening (Friday), then he will be admitted as scheduled tonight. We will not have the results of the biopsy until Monday, but whatever the results it doesn't change anything to get started because "our backs are against the wall" so we cant' delay any more, it changes what they will do during his recovery/rescue from each course/round of chemo. Eli feels well, his spirits are up, he said "I'm ready to get this chemo stuff started so I can be done and go live a halppy life." Me, too
