Vacationing is so exhausting. I remember now why we actually never do it. It’s not the money, it’s the energy. The energy to plan and prepare, the energy to execute, and the energy to wrap up and finish. I can’t wait to get back to Grizzlies House at St. Jude so I can get a break. Eli has been in a normal mood today, but he did throw up tonight and has had some other belly problems, so that is extremely disappointing. He hasn’t thrown up in about a week, so I was hoping he was leveling out with that. But I think this antibiotic he is on three days of the week messes him up some, too. Other than that, it’s just the same nibbling. He ate half of a poptart, half of a hot dog that I actually cut down to keep it from being so thick, then most of a cheese sandwich and one applesauce today. So, I don’t know what is that, 450 calories? I have to learn how to reverse calorie count. I’ve always counted calories in an effort to eat less calories, not more. So, this is a new way to count calories for me, along with having to either feed him so that he is eating or watch him eat each bite and tell him “take a bite” every few seconds as I do chores and other things around the house. So, tonight, the picture is from when we went to “the Track”. It has go-karts, mini-golf, arcade games, batting cages, just all the fun stuff.
